Sumrin Ruby

In the early morning of May 29, 2025, Sumrin Star of Hope gave birth to a chestnut Filly by Uiterwaardens Special Gift, 14 days before due date. She is named after Criban Ruby, who was a half sister of Criban Socks, out of the same line as Ystrad Klondyke and Invincible Taffy. The line of Criban Ruby has always been present at Sumrin. Our foundation mare was a granddaughter of Criban Bantam, who was a grandson of Criban Ruby. Our first stallion was out of Criban Ruby's line as well and so is the sire of this filly. Well, she is a chestnut, so the name fits. Sumrin Ruby first show was at the Dragon Welsh Show on 8 August 2026 where she gained 1st place.
