In the early morning of May 29, 2025, Sumrin Star of Hope gave birth to a chestnut Filly Uiterwaardens Special Gift, 14 days before due date.
she is named after Criban Ruby, who was a half sister of Criban Socks, out of the same line as Ystrad Klondyke and Invincible Taffy.
The line of Ruby has always been present at Sumrin. Our foundation mare was a granddaughter of Criban Bantam, who was a grandson of Ruby. Our first stallion was out of Criban Ruby's line as well and so is the sire of this filly.
Well, she is a chestnut, so the name fits.
